My first date would include a glass of Cabernet, along with enjoying sitting across from a very attractive, tentative, open minded man. May or may not include a meal to accompany that. Sharing our likes and dislikes and who knows maybe later go down by the beach and see the sunset. Alternatively, possibly going to an opera or ballet, neither of which I have actually attended.

Second dates are a whole different story: comedy club, burlesque show, drag show, live music anywhere, a great restaurant . . . or just about anything else

Otherwise, we should make that decision together , just to memorialize it, in the event that we actually have a great time and have many more dates.
Coffee or lunch.....just a light first date to say hello! I think at this point in my life I am a pretty good reader of chemistry. If things go well then a longer second date can be the next day!

My first date idea is for either an early breakfast or a late evening breakfast at Perkins Restaurant. Hey, lots of good conversation ensues over eggs, pancakes (or crepes) and coffee.

We would tell each other stories about our work or things that we like or dislike. After dinner, we could go to a shopping mall and see the things in there. I like to look at the shops for things i find unuseful and ask myself; why does anyone need this? sometimes I find myself wanting stupid things i didn't even know existed and wonder why i want them. But in the end, its fun to look at all the new things they put in the shopping malls
A simple friendly meeting and opportunity to openly engage in a non stressful situation and explore basic compatibility. Picnic, coffee, glass of wine :-)
